Michele Pezzicoli, Arceno’s Vineyard Manager, has been with Arceno since 1995. He is originally from Apulia, where he earned a degree in Agriculture Studies from the Institute of Agricultural Technology at Cerignola, and later worked at several respected wineries before moving to Chianti in the 1980s.

Wine is Michele’s passion, and he takes special pride in producing elegant, well-balanced, full-bodied reds. At Arceno, Michele oversees the viticultural programs including planting, farming and harvesting. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing the sustainable vineyard programs employed at the estate.
